DVC, DSTPS, Andal extended CSR support to a 22-member mountaineering team from the Andal–Asansol region, organised by Gopalpur RUTAPAS Adventure Club, Asansol.
As a gesture of encouragement, the team was provided with DVC-logo T-shirts and caps, along with the DVC Flag and Banner. The team will carry the DVC identity with them as they take on the challenging Himalayan terrain.
Scheduled from 29 August to 14 September 2026, the expedition includes a trek to Deo Tibba Base Camp and an attempt to summit Jagatsukh Peak (5,050 m) in Himachal Pradesh.
Beyond the climb, the initiative is about encouraging courage, teamwork and the spirit of adventure, while giving local mountaineering talent an opportunity to aim higher. DVC is proud to support the team and wishes all the participants a safe, successful and memorable expedition.
